Abstract

The rise of cryptocurrency exchanges has led to a surge in competition, with platforms competing for user attention and loyalty.

Referral programs have emerged as a key strategy for user acquisition and retention. This study examines the effectiveness of CoinEx’s referral program in attracting new users and promoting platform loyalty.

Using a mixed-methods approach, we analyze the impact of the referral code 9aegc on user behavior, exploring the underlying motivations and incentives that drive users to participate in the program.

Introduction

Cryptocurrency exchanges have experienced rapid growth in recent years, with the number of platforms increasing exponentially. CoinEx, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, has implemented a referral program to promote user adoption and retention.

The program allows users to earn rewards through commissions and bonuses by referring new users to the platform using a unique referral code 9aegc.

Background and Literature Review

Referral programs have been widely studied in the context of marketing and consumer behavior. Research has shown that referral programs can be an effective tool for driving user acquisition and retention (Kumar et al., 2014; Schmitt et al., 2011).

Results
